Why we built Slotwise
Walk into almost any salon, barbershop, or doctor's chamber in Bangladesh and you'll see the same thing: a phone that won't stop ringing, and someone — often the owner — juggling a paper diary or a WhatsApp thread to keep track of who's coming in and when. It works, until it doesn't. A missed call is a lost customer. A double-booked slot is an awkward apology. A no-show is an hour nobody gets paid for.
SKO TechLabs, a software company based in Dhaka, built Slotwise to fix exactly this. We spent time with salon owners, clinic managers, and studio owners across the city and heard the same frustration again and again: too much time spent answering the phone, not enough time spent on the customer actually in the chair. Slotwise gives every service business its own online booking page, so customers can book themselves in any time of day — and the business gets a calendar, automatic reminders, and payment records that used to take a notebook and a good memory.
