Business settings and wording

Set up your business profile, localization, wording, payments and policies from one place.

Where to find it

Go to SettingsBusiness settings. It's organized into tabs: Profile, Localization, Wording, Payments and Policies. Each tab covers a different part of how your business appears in the console and on your public booking page.

Profile

The Profile tab holds your business's public details:

  • Name and logo
  • About text
  • Phone, WhatsApp and email
  • Website, Facebook and Instagram links
  • Address, area and city
  • Google Maps link

This information appears on your public booking page, so customers can find and contact you before or after booking.

Tip Add your WhatsApp number if you use it for customer questions — it gives customers a quick way to reach you without calling.

Localization

The Localization tab controls how dates, times and money are displayed:

  • Timezone
  • Currency
  • Time format (12h or 24h)
  • Week starts on

Get these right when you set up your business, since they affect every calendar view and every booking confirmation your customers see.

Wording

The Wording tab lets you rename the words Slotwise uses for staff, customer, service and appointment, so the console and booking page match how your industry actually talks. A clinic, for example, can rename these to Doctor, Patient, Treatment and Visit. A salon might keep the defaults, or rename staff to Stylist.

Tip Set your wording early, ideally right after sign-up. It changes labels throughout the console and on your public booking page, so changing it later means everyone on your team has to get used to new terms.

Payments

The Payments tab controls how customers pay:

  • Whether customers can pay at the appointment
  • Your bKash, Nagad and Rocket numbers, for customers paying that way
  • Online payments through SSLCommerz

Setup steps for accepting payments and deposits are covered in "Payments and deposits", and connecting SSLCommerz specifically is covered in "Online payments with SSLCommerz".

Policies

The Policies tab holds two pieces of text:

  • Your cancellation policy, shown to customers
  • The confirmation message shown after a booking is completed

Tip Keep your cancellation policy short. Customers read it while they're in the middle of booking, and a long block of text is easy to skip past.

Locations

If your business has more than one branch, add them under BusinessLocations — a separate menu item, not a Business settings tab. Each location has its own address, phone number, Google Maps link and directions, so customers booking at a specific branch know exactly where to go.

Tip Fill in the Google Maps link for every location, not just your main one. It's often the fastest way for a new customer to find you.
