Discount coupons
Create coupon codes with usage limits, date ranges, and service restrictions for customers to apply at checkout.
What coupons do
Coupons let you offer a discount to customers booking through your Booking page, without changing your regular prices. Each coupon is a code you create, with its own rules for how much it discounts, who can use it, and for how long.
Creating a coupon
- Go to https://slotwise.skotechlabs.com/app/coupons.
- Click New coupon.
- Enter a code — this is what customers type in at checkout.
- Choose the discount type: percentage or fixed amount.
- If you chose percentage, set a maximum discount so a large booking doesn't get an oversized discount.
- Set a minimum booking value, if the coupon should only apply above a certain spend.
- Set total uses, to cap how many times the coupon can be used in total, across all customers.
- Set uses per customer, to cap how many times any one customer can use it.
- Set valid from and valid until dates to control the window in which the coupon works.
- Restrict the coupon to selected services, if it shouldn't apply to everything you offer.
- Turn the active toggle on when you're ready for customers to start using it.
- Click Save.
Where customers use it
Customers enter the coupon code during checkout, alongside their name and contact details, when booking through your Booking page. If the code is valid — active, within its date range, above the minimum booking value, under its usage limits, and for an eligible service — the discount is applied before payment.
Managing existing coupons
Open any coupon from https://slotwise.skotechlabs.com/app/coupons to change its rules, extend its dates, or check how many times it's been used. Turn the active toggle off at any point to pause a coupon without deleting it — useful for ending a promotion early or pausing one while you decide whether to bring it back.
Tip Set uses per customer to 1 for a first-visit offer, so regulars can't keep reusing a welcome discount meant for new customers.
Tip Always pair a percentage discount with a maximum discount. Without one, a large booking could end up far cheaper than you intended.
Tip Use the valid from/until dates to schedule a promotion in advance and let it switch off automatically, rather than relying on yourself to remember.
Tip Restrict a coupon to specific services when you want to promote one offering rather than discount everything you sell.
