Set up your business in 10 minutes

Before you start

You don't need anything ready in advance — no logo, no service list, no team details. Slotwise fills in sensible defaults for you, and you can refine everything later. This walkthrough covers just enough to get your booking page live.

Create your account and business

1. Go to https://slotwise.skotechlabs.com/app and create an account.
2. Choose the industry template that best matches your business. This sets your starting sample services and the wording used throughout the console, such as Staff vs. Doctor.
3. Enter your business name.
4. Choose your booking page address — this becomes slotwise.skotechlabs.com/your-address, so pick something short and recognisable.
5. Add your phone number and city.
6. Set your opening days and hours — which days you're open, and your hours on each one.

Finish these steps and your business is created.

What happens automatically

The moment you finish signup, Slotwise does three things for you:

• Your chosen template adds a set of sample services, so there's something to book straight away.
• You, the owner, are added as the first bookable team member.
• Your booking page goes live immediately, at your chosen address.

None of this is final — you can edit, rename, or remove any of it once you're in the console.

Tip Don't worry about getting the sample services exactly right at signup. Replace them properly in Services — it only takes a few minutes, and you'll want your real prices and durations there anyway.

Your free trial

New businesses get a 14-day free trial of the Growth plan, so you can try higher-tier features like online payments and reports from day one. When the trial ends, your account moves to the Free plan automatically, and stays there until you choose and pay for a plan. See Plans and billing for what each plan includes.

Tip Use the trial to test the features you're unsure about — online payments, SMS reminders, reports — before deciding which plan fits your business.

Getting to know your Dashboard

Once your business is set up, Dashboard is where you'll land each time you log in. It's built to answer "what does today look like, and what do I still need to do?"

• A setup checklist walks you through what's left: add services, set your hours, add your team, customise your booking page, share your link, and get your first booking.
• Today's schedule shows what's booked for the day.
• KPIs give you a quick read on how the business is doing.
• Upcoming bookings show what's coming next, beyond today.

Tip Work through the setup checklist in order. Each step builds on the last — your team needs to exist, for example, before you can assign them to services.
