Payments and deposits
Record payments, verify bKash, Nagad, and Rocket transactions, issue refunds, and track each appointment's payment status.
The Payments list
Go to https://slotwise.skotechlabs.com/app/payments to see every payment recorded across your business. Filter the list by date, method, or status to find what you need, and export it to CSV whenever you want to work with it in a spreadsheet or hand it to your accountant.
Recording a payment
When a customer pays, record it against their appointment using one of these methods:
- Cash
- Card
- bKash
- Nagad
- Rocket
- Bank transfer
- Other
Pick the method that matches how the customer actually paid, so your Payments list and Reports stay accurate.
Waiting for verification
When a customer pays by sending money to your bKash, Nagad, or Rocket number at checkout, they type in the transaction ID from their "Send Money" confirmation. That payment isn't marked as received automatically — it sits under Waiting for verification so you can check it against your own mobile banking app first.
For each one, you can:
- Verify it, once you've confirmed the money has arrived
- Mark as not received, if you can't find a matching transaction
Tip Check Waiting for verification at the start and end of each day. Verifying transaction IDs promptly means customers aren't left wondering whether their booking is confirmed.
Refunds
If you need to give money back to a customer — a cancellation, an overpayment, a complaint — record a refund against the original payment from the Payments list.
Tip Add a note explaining the reason whenever you record a refund. It saves time later if a customer or your accountant asks about it.
Appointment payment status
Every appointment carries a payment status, so your team can see where things stand at a glance:
- Unpaid – nothing has been paid yet
- Deposit paid – the customer paid a deposit when booking
- Paid – the appointment is fully paid
- Refunded – money has been returned to the customer
Deposits
Whether a service requires a deposit, and how much, is set on the service itself rather than in Payments — see "Add and organise services" for how to configure none, a fixed amount, a percentage, or full payment per service.
Tip Turn on deposits for your most popular or easily-missed slots. It's one of the simplest ways to cut no-shows without turning customers away.
Paying online
Customers can also pay online by card or mobile banking at checkout, handled securely through SSLCommerz. Setting this up is covered in "Online payments with SSLCommerz" rather than here.
